The cellist’s concert, which filled the Church of San Martín de Tours, was framed within the MusaE program, The Stones Sing, with which the Atlantic Romanesque Plan is collaborating.
The MusaE program, The Stones Sing, is promoted by the Spanish Cultural Action and Santa María la Real Foundation, and it is supported by the Banco Sabadell Foundation and the Musical Committee of Eutherpe Foundation. It is providing a closer approximation of the music to heritage sites, through several free concerts, which are preceded by a visit to the host location.
One of the concerts took place at the Church of San Martín de Tours in Salamanca and gathered 250 people who enjoyed Amarilis Dueñas’ music and approached the history of one of the most emblematic Romanesque buildings in the city of Salamanca.
The audience, among which was the General Director of the Heritage of Castilla and León Regional Government, Enrique Saiz, learnt about the work carried out in the building within the frame of the Atlantic Romanesque Plan, promoted by the Regional Government and by Iberdrola.
